Life Oak Cliff snapped Eustace's five-match winning streak with a 3-1 victory over the Lady Bulldogs Tuesday night.

The loss was the first in District 13-2A for Eustace, which fell to 19-8 overall and 4-1 in district play. Life Oak Cliff won by scores of 25-20; 25-22; 25-23; and 25-18.

Head coach Chuck Powers' Lady Bulldogs opened district with wins over Hampton Prep, Faith Family Academy, Red Oak Life and Malakoff. The district is the largest in Class 2A, containing nine teams. Three make the playoffs.

The Lady Bulldogs return to action Friday on the road at Palmer. Action starts at 4:30 p.m. Eustace is in the middle of a six-match road trip. The Lady Bulldogs won't play again at home until October 5, when they host Malakoff.

Eustace plays its final four matches at home.
