Delia Hernandez qualified for the Texas High School Powerlifting Association Region 3 meet this weekend in Forney.

Hernandez qualified with her performance this past weekend at Bullard. She lifted a total of 665 pounds in the 132-pound weight class. She finished the qualify season undefeated in her weight class and has won four gold medals. She also won strongest lifter in the lightweight division.

Cheyenne Heitz placed second in Bullard, lifting a total of 665 pounds in the 165s. She will be an alternate at the regional meet.

Kimone Scott placed third, lifting a total of 660 pounds in the 165s. Kayla Stanley placed fifth in the 123s with a total lift of 400 pounds, and Toree Scott placed second in the 105s with a total lift of 305 pounds.

Meredith McDonald and Ana Garcia also competed for Athens.
