After an 12 hour standoff, a Palestine man who barricaded himself in his home was taken into police custody without incident Wednesday afternoon.
A domestic disturbance call was made from the home at 1:55 a.m. Wednesday morning from a home on Louisiana St.
Palestine Police, Fire, EMS, Texas Rangers and Department of Public Safety Troopers all responded. Region One SWAT Team was also called in for assistance.
