This year's Whiskers & Wags Gala is planned for April 13.
“The event (is) a fundraiser but the evening will be among the most entertaining ever presented in the Cedar Creek Lake area,” according to a press release. “For music, this year features an eight-piece band with horn section. They’ve got the sounds of pop, rock, country, jazz and blues. You name it and they can play it.”
The Dallas-based premier party band, “The Roof Raisers,” do just that at venues such as the Omni Hotel, Gaylord Texan, Lone Star Park and the Dallas Museum of Art.”
Whiskers & Wags benefits the Friends of the Animals low-cost spay and neuter clinic and the Humane Society of Cedar Creek Lake.
“There will be glittering live and silent auctions with some of the most sought-after experiences and products,” the press release shows. “There will be a sit-down dinner served by Traditions of Tyler. This event has sold out every year and even though this is the first public announcement of the event, the advanced ticket sales have already taken up half of the available seats. You must move quickly to ensure you can attend.”
Tickets are available at www.whiskersandwags.us.
“And this year, like every year, the gala is made possible by the generosity and sponsorship of area businesses and individuals at various levels of support.”
