Two men from Brownsboro were killed and another seriously-injured in a one-car wreck on Farm-to-Market Road 607, Friday night, Department of Public Safety reports said.
The deceased were identified as Pablo Rojas, 20, and Roberto Gomez, 22. Eighteen-year-old Rene Cabral, also of Brownsboro, was in serious condition Monday at Trinity Mother Francis Hospital in Tyler with multiple injuries.
DPS reports said Rojas was driving a 2010 Chevrolet Camaro shortly after 11 p.m., heading north on FM 607. At a spot about eight tenths of a mile from State Highway 31, the Camaro left the roadway, struck some trees and overturned.
All three of the occupants of the wreck were wearing seat belts. Precinct 3 Justice of the Peace Sue Sterns pronounced Rojas and Gomez dead at the scene.
The wreck is being investigated by Trooper Josh Jerkins of the Henderson County Department of Public Safety office.
Funeral services for Rojas have been set for 2 p.m. Tuesday at St. Boniface Catholic Church, Chandler. No funeral information for Gomez was available Monday.
