Todd Russell of McAtee Realty in Gun Barrel City has set numerous records for real estate sales in Henderson County. And he broke the Henderson County Board of Realtors (HCBR) record.
“I thought 2017 record was going to be hard to beat,” said Russell, who in 2017 sold more than $29 million in property.
“He has been a perennial top producer throughout the years and has set all-time sales production figures for HCBR on numerous occasion,” said Steve McAtee, owner/broker of McAtee Realty
He blew that record away.
Russell shattered his 2017 sales record by over $8 million dollars. In 2018, he sold $37, 782,603 in real estate in Henderson County.
Russell, who has been selling real estate in Henderson County for 34 years, was recognized during the HCBR membership meeting on Wednesday. Along with a plaque for his achievement, HCBR President Diane Robertson gave Russell a cake.
It is the 13th year Russell has received the distinguished award, making him one of the most successful realtors in the history of the HCBR.
“Todd is an exceptional person as well as an incredible real-estate professional,” McAtee said. “His care for his clients combined with outstanding real-estate skills has solidified his position as the No. 1 realtor in Henderson County. Todd has played a pivotal role in keeping McAtee Realty the top- producing real estate company in the HCBR for the last four consecutive years.”
Russell said that he expects 2019 to be an “outstanding” year for real estate in Henderson County.
“I don't see why it can't be as good as 2018. With Cedar Creek Lake full and a good economy, real- estate sales should be good. The only downfall I can see is not having enough inventory.”
He was quick to point out as satisfying as it is to receive awards and accolades, they are only a product of meeting his customers and client goals.
