Two people were arrested on Friday following a pair of early-morning raids by Henderson County sheriff's officials.
“Taylor Lynn McCommas, 24, of Gun Barrel City, was arrested during the execution of a search warrant,” according to a press release. “She was in a residence in the 100 block of Stillwater in her hometown when deputies descended on the home at 12:20 a.m.”
Narcotics Investigators Kenneth Slaton, Wayne Nutt, Damon Boswell and Gabriel Shue found cocaine and over a pound of suspected marijuana, the press release shows.
McCommas was charged with two counts of possession of a controlled substance and possession of marijuana. She was released on $20,000 bond.
“Later Friday morning, the drug-interdiction team raided a travel trailer on Old Goshen Road in Eustace. They found Martin Elvis Riddle, 60, of Eustace, in possession of suspected methamphetamine. Investigator Robert Powers, Deputy David Robertson with his K-9 Officer Kahn and Deputies Matt Jistel and Eduardo Gonzales participated in the raid.”
Riddle was charged with possession of a controlled substance. He remained in the Henderson County jail on $10,000 bond.
