BEN WHEELER — The seventh annual Junebug Summer Fair is scheduled for June 21-23, in the backyard gardens of The Forge Bar & Grill in historic downtown Ben Wheeler.
It kicks off Friday night with a Farm to Table Dinner featuring a five-course meal prepared by Chef Brisco who is personally selecting local farm produce and meats and pairing them with local wines. Appetizers and wine start the evening as guests get a VIP preview of the art show that continues throughout the weekend for the general public. Live music adds to the outdoor seating among the stars. The cost is $125 per person with proceeds benefitting the Van Zandt Arts & Cultural District Foundation. Saturday and Sunday feature a juried art show, farmers market, art demonstrations, and more. Live music takes place throughout the weekend including Heather Little, Meredith Crawford, Chris Rasco, Travis Bolt, Riley Redding, Shelby Ballenger, and Shane Rendon. The fair takes place from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Saturday and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday.
