Henderson County Sheriff Botie Hillhouse said his department assisted the U.S. Marshal's office in arresting a suspect in a Dallas killing in Athens on Friday.
Jasmine Sherese Williams, 29, of Dallas was booked into the Henderson County Jail on warrants out of Dallas County for capital murder and aggravated assault causing bodily injury. Bond on the murder charge was set at $750,000. Bond on the assault charge was $5,500. Williams remained in custody on Monday.
Williams said the U.S. Marshal's office was investigating the case and had information that indicated where Williams might be located. The arrest was executed at the Shell Station on State Highway 19 North in Athens.
