The boater, identified as Lynn Earl Eggleston, 75, of Corsicana was found around 9:15 a.m. Sunday morning.
This concluded the four-day search of the Richland Chambers Reservoir after he was reported as a missing boater on Thursday, July 11.
The incident was ruled an accidental death by drowning by Navarro County Justice of the Peace Pct. 2 Darrell Waller.
“We would like to thank the Texas Parks and Wildlife Game Wardens, along with their dive team, K9 team, and DPS aircraft who assisted with the search,” Sheriff Elmer Tanner said. “We also thank the many volunteers who offered assistance and support of not only law enforcement, but the victim and his family during this tragic time.”
Eggleston was reported missing Thursday, July 11, and an alert was announced on social media.
Units from the Navarro County Sheriff’s Office, Texas Parks and Wildlife, Richland Chambers 287 Volunteer Fire Department and The Texas Department of Public Safety launched the search Thursday near the FM 2859 public boat ramp for a single occupant in a white boat with a Yamaha motor.

Saturday, Game Wardens had four boats on the water and a K9 and dive team worked throughout the day, NCSO remained at the scene during the entire operation.
