Emergency personnel work an accident at the intersection of Farm-to-Market Road 2329 and Farm-to-Market 3054 involving a silver 2005 Ford Taurus, driven by Mariann Nelson Hill, 84, of Eustace and white 1995 Dodge Dakota, driven by Gary Brent Garcia, 30, of Log Cabin. Department of Public Safety Trooper Jose Gomez said Garcia was traveling westbound on FM 2329, and Hill was eastbound. Garcia was turning left and failed to yield right-of-way according to Gomez. Hill and a passenger in her vehicle were taken by ambulance to East Texas Medical Center Athens. Gomez said they were not in critical condition.
