Athens —
The newly formed Henderson County Flame semi-pro football team will hold tryouts Jan. 6 at 3 p.m. at the Cain Park on Robbins Roads in Athens.
The Flame will be a member of the Athens based Texas United Football League.
Former Texas Xtreme player Randy Lingo will be the team owner.
Head coach and longtime Texas Xtreme semi pro football team owner and Texas United Football League owner Gary Craig will serve as the team's General Manager.

The Brownsboro Bearette Softball Camp is set for June 4-7 at the Brownsboro High School Field on the campus of Brownsboro High School.
Cost is $35 per camper.
