ATHENS —
Bruce Field is scheduled to host Class 2A playoff football for the second consecutive week.
The Tatum Eagles and the Franklin Lions will meet in a Region III-2A Division I regional matchup at 7 p.m. Friday.
Tatum is familiar with Bruce Field, having defeated Godley there in an area game last week, 41-8. The Eagles will enter Friday’s game with a 9-2 record.
The Lions also improved to 9-2 after winning last week’s area game against Winnie East Chambers, 34-14.
Franklin is the 11-2A champion, while Tatum is the 9-2A champion.
The winner advances to the regional quarterfinals next week.
