ATHENS —
The Athens Swim Club, a proud affiliate of Metroplex Aquatics, is set to hold tryouts and evaluations for the upcoming season.
All interested children are invited for an evaluation every Monday in September and October during practice times. Please see Coach Clay Elkins when you arrive.
All children must be able to swim one length of the pool without assistance.

Practices for the 2010-2011 season will be held at the Cain Center Natatorium (915 South Palestine, Athens) from 4 p.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Three-day practices (recommended for swimmers 10 and under) will be Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. Five-day practices will be held Monday through Friday.
Cost for the three-day program is $40 per month, plus an additional $56 per year USA Swimming fee. Cost for the five-day program is $80 per month, plus the $56-per-year USA swimming fee.
All swimmers should bring goggles, a competitive swim suit and towel. A swim cap is optional, but encouraged.
Metroplex Aquatics is a USA Swimming, year-round competitive swim team offering high quality professional coaching and technique instructions for all ages and abilities.
The goal of the team is to provide every member an opportunity to improve swimming skills and achieve success at his or her level of ability, from novice to international competitor.
