The historic season for the Malakoff Tigers came to a crushing halt as the New Boston Lions won 34-27 in the Region II-2A, Division I regional round contest at Longview Lobos Stadium.New Boston put the nail in the coffin with a 76-yard touchdown pass from Aaron Conkleton to Jeff Gladney with 4:05 remaining in the game and the 27-20 lead.The Lions (12-1) will now face Daingerfield in the regional quarterfinals next weekend.
