Welcome to Trinidad, Tom McVey.

McVey, the Trojans' first-year head coach, began his tenure with a 57-0 drubbing of Bynum Friday night at Trojan Field. The game was ended via the 45-point mercy rule.

The Trojans – who have been in the playoffs 11 of the past 12 seasons and 18 times over the past 22 years – will look to continue their hot start on the road next week at Greenville Christian. Last season, the Trojans beat Greenville Christian, 98-55, a week after scoring 102 points in a win over Bynum. Trinidad opened last season with three consecutive victories.
