AREA VOLLEYBALL: Eustace sweeps Hampton Prep in volleyball action

EUSTACE — The state ranked Eustace LadyDogs volleyball team swept Hampton Prep in straight games Tuesday night.

The No. 13-ranked LadyDogs won by scores of 25-10, 25-8 and 25-9 on Tuesday night.

Coach Chuck Power’s team travels to Malakoff Friday night with freshman action scheduled to begin at 4:30 p.m.

Malakoff falls to Palmer Tuesday night

PALMER — The Malakoff Lady Tigers lost in three games to Palmer Tuesday night in district action.

The Lady Tigers lost by scores of 25-16, 25-17 and 25-18.

Van takes care of Brownsboro, 3-0

VAN — The No. 9-ranked Van Lady Vandals defeated Brownsboro in three games Tuesday night.

Van won by scores of 25-23, 25-14 and 25-9.

Top players for Brownsboro were Reagan Allen with two digs, Devin Carver with two kills, two digs and seven assists, Meagan Gailey with two kills, an ace and one dig, Brittany Knippers with one kill and five digs and LaDae Luqman with six kills, three digs and three blocks.
