TRINIDAD —
Well, it can’t always be 99 points of fun.
Last year, the Trinidad Trojans nearly hung 100 points on Greenville Christian, one of the top private school Six-Man teams in Texas.
But this year, the Trojans have a young team and couldn’t quite keep up the GC in a 64-34 loss Friday night.
With the loss, Trinidad drops to 1-1 on the season.
Head Coach Kevin Ray’s Trojans return to action next Friday night at Coolidge. It will be the first of three consecutive road games for the Trojans, who play in Blum the following week and then travel to Abbott Sept. 24.
Kickoff in all three games is set for 7:30 p.m.
