MABANK — It's on to the District 15-3A championship game for the Van Vandals after a 49-7 win over the Mabank Panthers Friday night at Panther Stadium.
Van (8-1) improved to 4-0 in district to match the Canton Eagles for the top spot with one game to go. That game is a showdown between the two next week.
Mabank saw its records slip to 1-8 and 0-4.
The Vandals built a comfortable halftime lead and never looked back.
