Brownsboro HS ready to welcome campers this summer

BROWNSBORO — The Brownsboro High School athletic department is hosting five summer camps for kids of all ages during the next two months.

Coach Jason Hooker will open the summer camps on June 9-11 with a youth football camp at Bear Stadium.

The camp is for students entering the first through sixth grade.

The time of the camp is from 8:30-to-11 a.m. and will also be coached by the football staff.

The cost of the camp is $35 and each child will receive a camp T-shirt.

The staff will hand out awards for various events at the conclusion of the camp.

The Brownsboro Bears baseball team is hosting a camp on June 16-18 from noon to 3 p.m. at the baseball field.

The cost of the camp is $35 and campers will receive a free T-shirt. Parents are asked to bring the form to the field house or to bring it with you on the first day of camp.

The camp is open to students who have completed the first through eighth grade.

The players will be grouped by age, experience and skill level.

On June 16-19, the volleyball team will host their camp in the junior high gym from 1-to-4 p.m.

The camp is open to players who have completed the seventh through eleventh grade.

The cost is $40 per person with a free T-shirt for participating. You are being asked to turn the form in by June 5.

On June 16-20, the Bearettes basketball team will host their camp at the junior high school.

The camp is for kids age seven-to-14 or going into the second grade.

The camp runs from 8-to-11:30 a.m.

The cost of the camp is $35 and they will receive a T-shirt and a basketball.

The athletes will receive awards at the conclusion of the camp.

The Brownsboro Bears basketball camp is scheduled for June 23-26 from 8 a.m. to noon at the junior high gymnasium.

The camp is for incoming first through ninth graders.

The cost of the camp is $35 or $60 for brothers.

Each participant will receive a T-shirt.

The camp will be led by the high school coaching staff.

The athletes will receive awards at the conclusion of the camp.
