Winbush grabs national honor
TVCC back named 2nd team All-American
Trinity Valley Community College running back Chad Winbush has been named a second-team All-American, according to the National Junior College Athletic Association.
Winbush was a pre-season All-American pick before the 2009 season.
Winbush, a graduate of DeSoto High School, rushed for 1,020 yards on 118 carries, averaging 8.6 yards per carry. He also ran for 11 touchdowns. He was named the SWJCFC Offensive MVP following the season.
