Youth Tennis
Cain Center's Academic Aces Tennis Team attended the Dr. Robert D. Mertz Lions Tennis Tournament recently in Corsicana. Our young players competed in Boys 12 & under Singles. Eight-year-old Owen Craddock from Athens defeated 11-year-old Brandon West 7-5, 6-1; losing to 12-year-old Jivia Chimija. Nine-year-old Christain England from Athens lost his first match to 13-year-old Ben Crudock 6-0, 6-0, then he advanced through the consolation round to win 3rd place.
Adult Fall Softball
Two months of rain delayed the fall season, however through the players and coaches dedication and patience's we finally ended the season. Mens Unlimited Home Runs saw Texas Playboys winning 1st place with 1st Baptist and Grace Church battling it out for second place. COED league Champs were Dirty Crew coming in 1st with Traders coming in second.
Winter Softball will begin the week of December 7!
