A trio of Athens businesses — Elder Dodge, McDonald’s and Subway — are teaming up to bring football fans half price tickets and a tailgate party Friday prior to the Athens Hornets’ football game at Brownsboro.
Tickets will be $2 for adults and $1 for students, and sponsors ask all fans to wear white “to white out the Bears.”
Tickets will be available at the Athens High School Athletic Office until 3 p.m. Friday. They will also be sold at the tailgate party until about 5:30 p.m.
From 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Friday, Elder Dodge will host the tailgate party. Sandwiches and drinks will be served.
The varsity football game in Brownsboro starts at 7:30 p.m. The winner will win at least a share the 20-3A championship.
