EUSTACE — The Malakoff Lady Tigers defeated Scurry-Rosser, 3-0, to qualify for the playoffs from District 14-2A Friday night.
Malakoff (22-11) finished the regular season in a tie for the third and final playoff spot in the district. Malakoff won the playoff for the playoff spot by scores of 25-22; 25-18; and 25-21.
The Lady Tigers will play Caddo Mills (29-11) Tuesday at 7 p.m. in Kaufman.

The District 14-3A champion Eustace Lady Bulldogs have also set their playoff game. They will play Liberty-Eylau on Thursday, Nov. 5, at 7 p.m. at the Mount Pleasant High School gym. The game will be an area-round match.
