ATHENS —
The Athens Lady Hornets defeated the Brownsboro Bearettes, 3-0, in District 15-3A action Friday.
The Lady Hornets won by scores of 25-18; 25-20; and 25-16. The victory sent head coach Liz Ramsey’s Lady Hornets to 1-2 in district play and 12-15 on the season.
Athens returns to action Tuesday at Van. Sub-varsity games begin at 5 p.m., with the varsity to follow around 6:30.
