HIGH SCHOOL VOLLEYBALL: ETX showcase coming to Tyler Junior College

TYLER — The East Texas Volleyball Showcase will be coming to Tyler’s Wagstaff Gymnasium Sunday, July 28.

There will be two sessions during the day with games starting at 8 a.m. to Noon, followed by another session from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.

Admission to the showcase will be free of charge and programs will cost $3.

The East Texas Volleyball Showcase provides high school sophomores, juniors and senior girls looking to continue their volleyball careers at the collegiate level the opportunity to exhibit their skills in front of recruiters of many respectable Texas and surrounding state colleges.  

All junior colleges, four year colleges and universities in Texas and the surrounding states are invited to attend.

The registration cost is $50 per player before June 28 and $70 per player after June 28.

Players will be put on teams (based on positions played) of 8-10 players, will be provided a coach and play in one wave.  

Teams will play three 50 minute matches, with at least 10 minutes of warm-up prior to each match.

Players will receive an East Texas Volleyball Showcase T-shirt to wear, to match your info in the recruiting guide.
