HIGH SCHOOL BASEBALL: Cross Roads wins two games by identical 6-5 scores

CROSS ROADS — The Cross Roads Bobcats baseball teams won two games by identical 6-5 scores on Friday and Tuesday night.

Coach Chris Curran’s Bobcats’ are now 5-2 in district play.

They will play at Martin’s Mill today at 4 p.m.

On Friday, the Bobcats needed a walkoff double by Shawn Himes to defeat the LaPoynor Flyers 6-5.

On Tuesday, the Bobcats defeated Neches on the road 6-5.
