AHS Strength & Conditioning Camp set
Athens High School would like to invite athletes who are entering grades 7-12 its our Annual Strength and Conditioning Camp.
Camp dates are Monday, July 6, through Thursday, July 9, and Monday, July 13, through Thursday, July 16,. The camp will start at 6 p.m. and last until 8 p.m. each day. There is no charge for this camp.
AHS would also like to remind all athletes that the weight room is open Monday through Thursday each week from 9 a.m. until noon and 5 p.m. until 8 p.m.
TVCC basketball camp set for July 13-17
The Trinity Valley Community College Basketball Program will be conducting a Basketball Camp July 13-17 on the TVCC campus.
The camp will be open to girls and boys grades 2-12 and be from 8:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. each day. The emphasis of the camp will be on offensive fundamentals and skill development, along with daily contests and competitions.
The costs of the camp will be $65 with each participant receiving a camp T-shirt and certificate.

HC Soccer Association registration nears
Registration for the Henderson County Soccer Association will be held July 27-31 from 9 a.m. to noon and from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Coleman Park in Athens.
Cost is $45 for U5-U6 (must be 4 by July 1, 2009) and $55 for U8-U16. A copy of each participating player’s birth certificate is required to register.
