CROSS ROADS — The Cross Roads Lady Bobcats took care of Dawson in 39-28 fashion Friday night in their District 21-A basketball opener.
The win raised Coach Giff Durham’s squad to 6-8 on the year.
The Lady Bobcats are scheduled to return to action Tuesday at Wortham. Junior varsity action begins at 5 p.m.
Kenzie Arnold tossed in 12 points, including four three-pointers to lead Cross Roads.
Stephanie Baker had nine points and grabbed 12 rebounds for the Lady Bobcats.
Chelsey Pryor and Tristan Welch had six points each.
