Due to early deadlines because of the threat of bad weather related to Hurricane Ike, coverage of Friday night’s high school football games could not be included in this issue of the Athens Daily Review.
Coverage of the games will be included in the Monday review. Information on the games can also be found at www.athensreview.com.
The Athens Hornets were scheduled to put their unbeaten record on the line on the road against Bullard. The game time was moved an hour earlier from the original 7:30 p.m. start.
Also, the Brownsboro-Spring Hill game kicked off at 6:30 p.m.
Cross Roads, Malakoff and Mabank were celebrating homecoming Friday night.
