Crappie are excellent on minnows fished vertical around deep brush, 18-25 feet.
Catfish are good on trotline, jugs and rod and reel.
SABINE LAKE — High winds and fresh water slowed the weekend bite, but trout and red options should get progressively better if stable weather conditions settle in for a few days.
Look to the jetties for mixed bags of reds and specks; flat fish in the main lake.
