HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL: Brownsboro evens record with 42-7 win over Wills Point

BROWNSBORO — First-year head coach Jason Hooker's Brownsboro Bears improved to 2-2 on the season with a dominating win over Wills Point Friday night at Bears Stadium.

Brownsboro quarterback Jared Bragdon had three touchdown passes in the game.

Tyler Thomison opened the scoring with a 20-yard touchdown reception, Tristan Moore had a 60-yard touchdown reception and Caleb Seale had a 37-yard touchdown reception in the second half.

The Bears also had touchdowns from Damien Thompson on a two-yard run and Mitchell Penny had a 13-yard run.

Braylon Wehrmann had a fumbled kickoff recovery in the endzone to give Brownsboro a 28-0 halftime lead. Leading the defense was Tanner Wilson with two interceptions and Quentin McKenzie with a fumble recovery.
