63-0 win sets up blockbuster vs. Calvert

COVINGTON — The Trinidad Trojans improved to 3-0 on the season with a 63-0 stomping of the Covington Owls Friday night.

The win sets up a mammoth meeting next Friday night at Trojan Field with Calvert, who entered Friday night’s action with as the No. 9-ranked team in Six-Man football. Trinidad headed into the week ranked No. 12.

The Trojans head into next week’s huge matchup scoring nearly 75 points per game. They’ve outscored their opponents thus far, 224-80. In their last game, they defeated Greenville Christian, 99-68.

Kickoff at Trojan Field is set for 7:30 p.m. next Friday night.
