ATHENS —
Football equipment for seventh and eighth graders who are going to play football for Athens Middle School will be issued later this week.
Middle school coaches will be available to outfit seventh graders in equipment on Monday, Aug. 16, from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Coaches will outfit eighth graders with headgear, shoulder pads and other associated equipment on Tuesday, Aug. 17.
August 23 will mark the first day classes resume at Athens Middle School and also the first day of football practice.
