BLOOMING GROVE —
The Eustace Bulldogs picked up a big road victory Friday night against the Blooming Grove Lions, 44-42, in overtime.
Senior John Bradburn sent the game into overtime nailing two free-throws with no time remaining on the clock.
He then drained a 15-foot jumper with six seconds remaining to seal the victory.
Steven Stine led the Bulldogs with 14 points, while Bradburn added 13 points and Kyle Wood added 11 points.
Eustace will begin district play Tuesday night at home against the Malakoff Tigers.
The junior varsity game is scheduled to tip off at 4:30 followed by varsity boys, then varsity girls.

Grand Saline 30
GRAND SALINE — The Brownsboro Bears won first place during the Grand Saline Tournament against the host school Grand Saline Indians, 44-30, Saturday night.
Brownsboro (12-4) jumped out to a 27-10 lead at the half and never looked back holding Grand Saline to under 10 points in three of the four quarters.
Taylor Beall led the way for the Bears with 14 points and teammate Blake Ralson added 11 points.
Brownsboro travels to Palestine tonight for a contest with the Wildcats. Tipoff is set for 7:30 p.m.

Faith Family 12
MALAKOFF — The Malakoff Lady Tigers improved to 1-1 in District 13-2A with a 78-12 win over Dallas Faith Family Friday night.
Plandreika Jackson scored a game-high 25 points, while teammates Taye Jackson added 16 points and Candace Denis added 12 points.
Malakoff travels to Eustace (2-0 in district play) tonight for a game with the Lady Bulldogs. Tipoff is scheduled for 6 p.m.
