ATHENS —
The Mart Panthers and the Alto Yellowjackets will clash Friday at Bruce Field in a Region III-1A Division I quarterfinal matchup.
Kickoff is set for Friday at 7:30 p.m. It will mark the third week in a row Bruce Field has hosted a playoff game. Gates will open at 6 p.m.
Mart is 10-2 and coming off a 49-21 win over San Augustine last week.
Alto improved to 11-2 last week with a 35-14 win over Bosqueville.
The Harris Ratings System has installed Mart as a 24-point favorite.
The winner will advance to next week’s state semifinal against Friday’s other winner between Shiner and Mason.
