Cain Center wraps up Youth Football Camp
The Cain Center hosted its second-annual three-week Youth Football Camp in early August.
Boys ages 3 through 12 went through skills, drills and scrimmages on Saturday mornings at the Cain Park II fields. A celebration was held on Saturday, Aug. 15, for participants and their families. Members of VFW Post 7103 provided smoked briskets.
“The camp was a success,” Cain Center Athletic Director Debby McMinn said. “Every year we keep growing in participants. We would like to thank the parents who volunteered their time and energy in making the event successful. Special thanks to the VFW members for buying and cooking the briskets.”
