Cain Center football season nears
The Cain Center Youth Football Program, for ages 3 through 12, is currently registering for the upcoming season.
On Saturday, August 18, staff will be on site at the Cain Park II Softball Fields to assist with registrations.
Cain Center will have a benefit barbecue dinner to help with the purchase of new equipment. Plates will be $5 and hours of the event will be from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Local VFW post 7103 will supply and cook the meat.
Tennis team wins again
The Cain Center�s tennis team competed Saturday, August 8, in the USPTA Gran Prix Tournament at Tyler Junior College. Seven-year-old Owen Craddock won a bonze medal in the 10 & under boys and Madison Wilcher won a silver medal in 12 & under girls.
