Six Tigers named to all-district team

MALAKOFF — Six Malakoff Tigers received recognition on the 13-2A all-district baseball team released by the district coaches.

Malakoff had three first team selections as junior Jett Foster was named as a catcher, while sophomore Hunter Snow was named as an infielder. Junior Braylon Cable was selected as an outfielder.

On the second team, the Tigers had junior Stephan Wolfe named as an infielder, while sophomore outfielder Dylan Grimm made the list. Sophomore pitcher Tristen Tobey was selected as a pitcher.

The Kemp Yellowjackets had the Co-District Pitcher of the Year in senior Corey Watkins, while Braxton Allison was named first team infielder. Junior pitcher Calbert Hukill was named to the first team.

Bryce Allison was named as a second team catcher, while Jesse Hall was named as a second team utility player.

Eustace had two players make the list in senior Ryan Brown as a second team infielder.  Senior pitcher Forrest Lane was named to the second team.
