ATHENS — The Athens-based Texas Xtreme semi-professional football team’s game against the Longview Outlawz has been moved.
The Xtreme, originally scheduled to be out of town this weekend, will now face the Outlawz at Bruce Field. Kickoff is set for 7:30 p.m.
The Xtreme, coached by Larry Anding and Gary Craig, dropped their season opener to the Port City Jaguars, 24-21.
After this week, the Xtreme is scheduled to hit the road to face the Waco Twisters on March 22. The team returns to Bruce Field March 29 against Tatum’s East Texas Wildcats.
All games kick off at 7 p.m.
