Bagby, Lemus named TSWA Class 3A all-state

Athens — Brownsboro’s Shelbie Bagby and Kelsey Lemus were recognized on the Texas Sports Writers Association all-state team.

The two players were named to the honorable mention team for Class 3A.

Bagby wrapped up the year with a .527 batting average. She had 16 runs scored and 12 runs batted in as the team’s first baseman.

Lemus batted .446 with 19 RBI this past season.
