EUSTACE —
Eustace seniors Kacie Richards and Mallory Keeling were superlative winners on the recently announced 13-2A all-district team.
Richards was named Offensive Player of the Year, while Keeling was named Setter of the Year for the Lady Bulldogs, who advanced to the regional quarterfinals and won 30 games this season.
Eustace seniors Bethany Strickland and Casey Bramblitt were named to the first team, while senior Chelsea Oldham was a second-team selection.
Malakoff’s Ta’Zon Jackson, a senior, was a first-team pick, while Kemp had three players selected to the second team — senior Lacie Henderson, junior Bree Weisnger and sophomore Chasity Scott.
Life Oak Cliff’s Daniela Garcia was named MVP, while LOC sophomore Sheanna Torio was Defensive Player of the Year and teammate Chelsi LaCour was named Setter of the Year. Palmer’s Kendall Waddle was named the district’s top newcomer.
