Athens —
The Athens 14U Hornets select baseball team coached by David Nichols and Jeff Ickes will play a doubleheader this Saturday starting at 5 p.m. at Coleman Park.
Most of these kids are in their final year of select baseball before starting their high school careers. This is a very talented crew.
Team members are Casey Pitchford, Peter Rodriquez, Dawson McCaskill, Eric Marquez, Preston Benton, Cameron Woodard, Noah Sikes, Peyton Brewer, Emanuel Hernandez, Jacob Ickes and Samuel Nichols. The games this Saturday will be against the Eustace Select 14U team.
concession stand is open and entry is free.
