PALESTINE — The Athens Hornets scored a 7-0 win over Kemp to wrap up the second day of play at the Wildcat Classic.

Enrique Rodriguez scored both first-half goals for Athens, and goals from Juan Mota, Arturo Alvarado, Alexis Beltran, Bryant Castaneda and Sebastian Clark followed. Osiel Nieto assisted on three of those goals.

Earlier in the day, Athens fell to Kennedale, 1-0. Play will continue Saturday.
