SALINA, Kan. —
ADR: You tore your ACL during an early season game in Mississippi and haven’t played since. How hard has it been for you to watch the season rather than play?
JB: What hurt me the most is, after I got hurt in Mississippi, we went to Florida and had three straight losses. I think I could have made a big impact, but things happen and you’ve got to go in with it. God did it for a reason.
ADR: You are Lesha are both from Toronto. How is Texas different from your hometown?
JB: The atmosphere is a lot different. Toronto is a big city, and here it’s not that big. Here, you look outside and you just see trees and grass and stuff. In Toronto, you see houses, malls, stores, just a bunch of stuff like that. I’m able to adapt to that, but I miss my family.
ADR: You’re usually in street clothes on the sidelines, and it seems like you’re always stylin’. Are you a fashion diva?
JB: I guess so. If I can’t play, I’ve got to make people recognize me somehow.
