The Mabank Lady Panthers defeated Greenville 4-3 last Friday night.
Mabank’s Savannah Henderson scored all four goals for the Lady Panthers bringing her season total to 33 goals.
The Lady Panthers open up district in Chapel Hill on Tuesday.
“We played a tough team in Greenville,” Mabank coach Jeffrey Downs said. “They are a perennial playoff team and always well-coached. We played well the last 20 minutes of the first half, and we were dominating the possession.”
The Lady Panthers open up District 31-4A play in Chapel Hill on Tuesday.
JV action starts at 5:30 p.m. with the varsity set for 7 p.m.

GRAND SALINE — The Mabank Lady Panthers lost their Region 2-3A bi-district playoff game on Monday night to the Spring Hill Lady Panthers.
The Lady Panthers held a 32-29 lead at the half, but were outscored 29-18 in the second half of play.
Mabank had 16 turnovers in the game compared to 10 for Spring Hill.
Kourtney Holyfield wrapped up her high school career with a game-high 32 points, three rebounds and two assists for the Lady Panthers.
Teammate Hazel Puempel added nine points for the Lady Panthers.
