HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL: Malakoff rolls to a 67-15 win over Italy

WAXAHACHIE — The Malakoff Tigers are putting up numbers that would make the Texas sun blush.

The Tigers (2-0) lit up the scoreboard for the second time in as many weeks, punishing the Italy Gladiators, 67-15, Friday night at the annual Dale Hansen Classic.

Malakoff has now scored 123 points in two games.

Malakoff senior running back Damontes Dowell had a huge night, running for two touchdowns, throwing for another and returning a kickoff for a touchdown. Quarterback Stephan Wolfe threw a pair of touchdown passes and ran for one and running back Marcus Dowell scored two rushing touchdowns.

Deric Greenhaw contributed to the rout with a 45-yard interception return for a score.
