GRAND SALINE — It's back to the playoffs for a fifth straight year for the Eustace Bulldogs, who trounced the Grand Saline Indians Friday night, 49-0.
Coach Brian Herman's Bulldogs assured themselves of a postseason berth in convincing fashion, dropping the Grand Saline Indians to 1-7 and 0-3. Eustace, which has next week off, raised its records to 5-4 and 4-1 with one game to go.
The Bulldogs led 7-0 after one quarter and then turned it on with three touchdowns in the second quarter. They added three more in the third quarter.
Eustace's playoff streak is currently the longest active among Henderson County area schools.
