MAIL CALL: God bless the Palins for standing proud

I was appalled at the recent remarks by a letter writer about Sarah Palin’s fifth pregnancy at age 44.

First of all, I don’t know about her private life. More and more women are choosing to have children in their 40s. Also, accidents do happen (be real). I applaud her choice to keep a child with special needs. God sometimes sends us blessings in many ways. I am a nurse by profession and have known many loving and wonderful children with Down’s Syndrome.

I don’t think we should want a perfect race. Does that sound familiar?

God bless Mrs. Palin and her husband for standing up for what they believe in.
