MAIL CALL: Stop whining about prices and take action

To all the people whining about gas prices, let me remind you times are hard. And hard times require hard decisions. Everybody is suffering the same pinch. My family suffers because of fuel prices as does everybody else’s. I know all this talk is leading up to higher property taxes. And that will only increase the burden. We should try to conserve so that these children that we are trying so hard to educate will have a future for themselves.

Tips for conserving:

Official vehicles should be used for business purposes only;

Turn off the air conditioner (a little sweat won’t hurt you);

Turn off engine when you exit the vehicle.
